Machine Repair & Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Repair & Maintenance Technician is a full-time hourly position, responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. Requirements include maintaining all equipment to required standards as well as responsiveness to production needs and equipment failures. This individual works as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, safety, and trustworthiness.

Training will be provided for our specific machinery.

Responsibilities:

· Preventative maintenance

· Changeovers and setups

· Basic machine programming

· Fill in for production occasionally (vacation coverage, call-ins, etc.)

· Help with 5S

· Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the business system

· Occasional facilities maintenance (install air lines, install bus boxes, install power cables, maintain floor scrubber)

· Repair and maintenance for a variety of machines and components to include:

o Spindles

o Hydraulics

o Pneumatics

o Zinc injection machines

o Low and High voltage

o AC and DC circuits

o Robotics

o Valves

o Pumps

o Motors

o Machine alignments

o GD & T

o Lock-out / Tag-out

o Swiss Lathes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
