This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is remote in Michigan as there is some occasional onsite presence needed.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Learning Content Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of branding standards, and proficiency in using Articulate Storyline and Rise. The specialist will be responsible for implementing minor updates and revisions to both Instructor Led Training (ILT) and eLearning content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Execute minor revisions and updates to existing ILTs and eLearns.
- Ensure all changes align with Consumers Energy branding guidelines and standards.
- Partner with business partners and subject matter experts to clarify revision needs and ensure content accuracy.
- Review and proofread content for grammar, formatting, and consistency.
- Maintain version control and documentation of revisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues within Articulate modules.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with branding guidelines and visual design principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in eLearning, instructional design, or digital content development is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with accessibility standards in digital content.
Preferred: A degree in Instructional Design or related field is preferred but not required
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 27-$30/hr
