We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office management, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. The Administrator will be responsible for overseeing scheduling, budgeting, payroll, and other essential functions that contribute to the efficiency of our organization.
Duties
•Manage office operations including scheduling appointments and meetings.
•Oversee budgeting processes and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
•Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
•Provide support in human resources functions including recruitment and onboarding.
•Maintain an organized filing system for documents and records.
•Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors via phone and email.
•Attending Commissioners meetings, public hearings, and community events
•Seeking and securing grants and other funding opportunities to support Town projects and services.
•Implement organizational strategies to improve office efficiency.
•Collaborate with team management to ensure all administrative needs are met.
Requirements
•Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
•Familiarity with budgeting processes and payroll systems.
•High School Diploma or its equivalent or any acceptable combination of education, experience, and training that provides the requisite knowledge skills, and abilities.
•Have at least 3 years of experience working in government and/or management positions.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel).
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
•The ability to learn website management, accounting programs and tracking projects.
