Energy Efficiency Experts is currently seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position is a major contributor to the continued success of our organization. We will provide the training for you to perform Residential Energy Audits in DC-Maryland Metro area homes. Sustainability is one of the fastest-growing industries in the US and this position allows you to learn the fundamental elements of residential energy efficiency. We are looking for individuals recently out of college looking to expand into a career.
Responsibilities:
•
Initially, during the training period, you will be supporting an auditor by setting up equipment, collecting and modeling data.
•
After the training period, you will be transitioning into a lead auditor position; conducting home energy audits, creating scopes of work and submitting data to software programs maintained by the utility companies.
The ideal timeline would be to transition into a Lead Auditor is within 3 to 6 months of employment.
Skills Required:
•
An ability to pay attention to details.
•
Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
•
Ability to use mobile devices for on-site documentation.
•
English proficiency.
•
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.
•
Self-motivated person, capable of both team and independent work.
Applicable Education: Bachelors in

Environmental Science.

Sustainability.
•
Or just an interest in contributing to the mitigation of climate change.
