We are looking for a part-time or full-time Medical Billing Specialist with prior experience in medical billing and insurance claim resolution. Your main responsibility will be to contact insurance companies regarding denied claims, resolve outstanding issues, and ensure claims are paid promptly.
We are seeking someone detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in communicating with payers.
- Call insurance companies to follow up on denied or delayed claims
- Resubmit and/or appeal denied claims as necessary
- Document communications and outcomes clearly
- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with our team to ensure timely collections
- Prior experience in medical billing, claims follow-up, or revenue cycle management (required)
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes, CPT codes, and billing guidelines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- $5–$6 per hour (depending on experience)
