Energy Select: Energy Select is a renewable energy company with our main location in Leonardtown, Maryland, providing sustainable solutions for both residential and commercial clients. With more than 20 years of electrical experience and 10 years specializing in solar, we are able to offer a wide range of services including solar installations, LED lighting retrofits, service & maintenance, EV charger installations, and home efficiency upgrades. We are expanding and looking for motivated individuals who are eager to build a career in the solar and lighting industries.

Role Overview: We are hiring Solar & LED Installers to join our growing field teams. In this role, you will assist with the installation of solar photovoltaic systems or LED lighting projects. You’ll work closely with experienced electricians and crew leaders to set up job sites, install equipment, and ensure professional results. No prior experience is required — we provide training for individuals who are willing to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities:

- Solar Installation Support – Assist with mounting solar panels, racking, and electrical equipment on rooftops and ground mounts in line with safety and quality standards.

- Lighting Installation – Install and retrofit lighting fixtures, including converting existing systems to LED in commercial spaces such as warehouses, pole lights, churches, and schools

- Site Setup & Cleanup – Prepare job sites by organizing tools and equipment, and ensure the work area is left clean and free of materials at the end of each project.

- Team Support – Work alongside crew leaders and electricians, providing help with tools, wiring, and equipment setup as needed. Listening to instruction and being as helpful as possible to efficiently complete the installation.

- Customer Interaction – Maintain professionalism and a courteous attitude while working in clients’ homes or businesses.

- Safety Practices – Follow company and OSHA safety protocols, especially when working at heights on rooftops or lifts.

Qualifications:

- Must be comfortable working at heights (roofs, lifts, scaffolding)

- Mechanically inclined and able to use hand/power tools

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Reliable transportation is required to reach job sites throughout Southern Maryland

- Ability to pass a background check. Work can be on government or school property that requires a clean criminal record

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
