Orix provides geological and geomatic expertise for juniors, mid-tiers, and majors.
Orix is looking for passionate Core Logging Field Geologists to join our Team for
core logging field projects for 16 Days on (including travel) and 12 Days off rotations.
· Experience core logging on a mineral exploration field project a definite asset;
· Great communication, interpersonal, client service skills combined with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality;
· Demonstrates a commitment to health and safety in the workplace and in field environments, understanding and adhering to safety protocols, including reporting hazards, near misses and incidents to management;
· Ability to work in remote field locations for 2 week periods (16 Days on, including travel, 12 Days off).
· Supporting exploration programs in accordance with client needs related to drill and/or mapping programs including core logging and sampling;
· Work alongside, support and/or supervise other colleagues as necessary (including student geologists and technicians);
· Travel to and from remote field projects as required. Orix takes care of all accommodations and travel arrangements;
· Any other geological duties as required by your project supervisor.
