Laborer - Natural Gas Utility Construction

A Gas Utility Laborer’s responsibilities include working closely with Foremen and other team members to install gas facilities and other civil infrastructure. Laborers should demonstrate strong leadership, a willingness to listen and learn, a safety-first mindset, and a genuine desire to work in the utility industry. Responsibilities

Education, Skills, Experience Needed

· Prior experience in gas utility industry highly desired

· Commitment to performing quality work with a strong focus on safety

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with others

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently

· NGA Operator Qualifications highly desired

Requirements

· Valid Driver’s license required

· Ability to pass and maintain Operator Qualifications as assigned

· Ability to pass pre- and post-employment DOT drug screenings

· Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card

· Ability to obtain satisfactory results of a background check

· Ability to Lift 50lbs independently

· Hand digging as required

· Work outdoors in all weather conditions
