The Process Engineer III is responsible for applying design and process engineering skills to a variety of Oil, Gas and Chemical/Petrochemical projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Performs pressure relief calculations using process simulation software and prepares complete PSV packages for client review.
- Perform as Lead Process Engineer for small to medium size jobs, depending on complexity
- Establishes process engineering scope, estimated man-hours and schedule to facilitate proposal development, progress tracking and development of change orders.
- Completes sizing and design of process equipment, such as pumps, heat exchangers, separation equipment, tanks, etc. required for process design.
- Communicates scope changes promptly.
- Will be required to make local on-site visits necessary to support projects, within a 50-mile radius.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, or related engineering degree, from an ABET accredited university required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Process Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred.
- Knowledge of process engineering terminology, measures, concepts and principles necessary for execution of process design tasks.
- General aptitude with process simulation, hydraulics, and other process-related software.
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, co-workers, clients, customers, and the general public.
