CDR General Services is seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team in Port Allen, LA. The ideal candidate will operate excavators equipped with a Vacuum Excavator Attachment. On-site training will be provided, and upon completion, operator must be available to travel nationwide for project assignments.

Job Type: Full-Time Location: Port Allen, Louisiana Pay: $18 - $20 per hour (Depending on experience) Daily Per Diem (when traveling): $55 Schedule: 10–12 hour shifts, 6 days per week, Start time: 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

- Safely operate excavators and the Vacuum Excavator Attachment during project assignments

- Follow all site-specific safety procedures and company policies

- Conduct basic equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance checks

- Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment on job sites

- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to ensure project completion

- Travel to multiple sites across the U.S. as assigned

Requirements

- Previous experience operating excavators

- Ability to learn and adapt to specialized attachments (training provided)

- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices

- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for extended periods

- Ability to work long shifts (10–12 hours), 6 days per week

- Reliable transportation to report to training site and departure points

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive hourly pay (DOE)
