Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support a wide range of infrastructure projects, from initial design and planning of high voltage substations. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for civil engineering, a strong technical background, and a proactive approach to project management. Responsibilities

- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.

- Manage project documentation through technical writing, drafting schematics, system design reports, and progress reports.

- Design substation structures, foundations, and site grading.

- Ensure project deliverables meet submission and fabrication schedules.

- Delegate tasks effectively to design team members.

Skills

- Proven experience in civil engineering projects

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, GIS (ArcGIS), HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center models), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, and other relevant software tools.

- Familiarity with drafting standards for schematics and technical drawings related to civil system design.

- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and documentation required for project approval or compliance purposes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience

- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Mathcad, STAAD Pro, LPile, and RISA Foot preferred.

- Experience with stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), site layout, grading, drainage, erosion, and sediment control is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
