Position Summary

Pierce Aluminum is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Helper / Operator to join our production team in Mandeville, LA. This role supports the operation of CNC routers, mills and other fabrication equipment to process aluminum materials according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC routers, mills and related machinery

- Load and unload aluminum sheets and parts, ensuring proper handling and storage

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using measuring tools and visual checks

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards

- Support machine operators with material prep, tooling changes, and workflow coordination

- Follow production schedules and work orders to meet deadlines and customer requirements

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and issues

Qualifications

- Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation a plus

- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions

- Comfortable using hand tools, measuring devices, and operating machinery

- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs. and stand for extended periods

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

- Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment
