Motor Rewind Technician-

We are seeking a skilled Motor Rewind Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing and rewinding electric motors, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
•Inspect, diagnose, and repair electric motors, including AC, DC, and specialty motors.
•Knowledge in the safe operation of burn out and bake ovens
•Perform rewinding of stators and rotors, ensuring compliance with specifications.
•Utilize testing equipment to evaluate motor performance post-repair.
•Properly strip stators and armatures to minimize physical core damage.
•Insert wound coils under and over 15 hp.
•Proper placement of coil with relation to frame and insulation
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in motor repair preferred.
•Proven experience in electric motor repair and rewinding.
•Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
•Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools and equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and teamwork skills.
