Warehouse General Maintenance / Swing Shift Janitor Location: Champagne Metals – Middlebury Facility

Champagne Metals is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to support our facility and grounds upkeep. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a small, tight-knit maintenance team.

SchedulePay:

- Standard Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

- Occasional Saturday overtime

- Flexibility required - during inclement weather or special projects (e.g., snow removal at 4:00 AM), earlier or adjusted shifts may be necessary

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the facility and campus, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times

- Grounds upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, weed-eating, and trash pickup

- Perform snow removal during winter months

- Painting (interior and exterior)

- Maintain plant floors, including sweeping and trash removal

- Empty trash hoppers and ensure waste is properly disposed of

- Maintain and refresh pocket tape lines for inventory

- Organize and maintain tools and supplies as needed

- Perform light maintenance tasks such as fixture replacement and racking installation

- Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and general warehouse spaces

- Follow all safety procedures with strong attention to detail
