Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Warehouse employee to join our team part time. This position is critical in overseeing daily warehouse operations in a facility specializing in steel wire, chain, and hardware. The Warehouse employee will manage workflow by fulfilling orders, Learn the office operations for day-to-day tasks, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE - 8am-1pm or 9am-2pm Monday through Friday

- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations under the direction of the Warehouse Manager

- Manage workflow and prioritize tasks with a strong sense of urgency

- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (must be certified or experienced)

- Verify and accurately count incoming and outgoing orders

- Ensure staff follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management

- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs when needed

- Work in hot and cold weather conditions while maintaining proper attire and safety practices

- Demonstrate respect, professionalism, and good conduct at all times

- Utilize computers and warehouse software systems for inventory, order processing, and reporting

Qualifications:

- Forklift operation experience is required (certification preferred)

- Previous warehouse leadership experience strongly preferred

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with accurate counting abilities

- Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and inventory software

- Excellent communication skills

- Professional, respectful, and safety-focused mindset

- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed

- Comfortable working in hot and cold environments

ONE PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

M-F 8am-1pm OR M-F 9am-2pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
