Salary Range: $158,000 - $180,000 position is also eligible for an annual bonus if company objectives are met.

As the Senior Advisor Market Design, you will:
- Guide complex, high-visibility projects and shape strategies that influence the direction of our markets and our organization.
- Propose, evaluate, and develop creative enhancements to market models, algorithms, business rules, and processes.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure market design changes are well-rounded, effective, and future-ready.
- Support multi-year market enhancement roadmaps as part of MISO’s Unified Planning and Performance program.
- Assess market competitiveness and efficiency, solve high-risk challenges, and apply advanced economic and engineering principles.
- Develop white papers, technical reports, and presentations for executives, the Board of Directors, and industry audiences.

- 12 year(s): Experience in a deregulated wholesale electricity market or utility experience within any of the following: power system analysis & operation and associated software development, statistical and econometrics analysis, market analysis and design, optimization algorithms, econometrics would be preferred.
- Previous energy market commercial transaction experience
- Experience within any of the following: energy markets, optimization algorithms, operations research, environmental economics, economic theories, and/or practices
- 4 year(s): Supervisory, project team and/or management experience
- Bachelors or better in Economics or related field
