At JW Hicks, we are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add Production Workers - 2nd Shift. We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

Production Worker (Laborer) Job Responsibilities:

- Operate mixers and add minor ingredients to prepare mixes for casting/pressing

- Cast, press or finish product

- Operate ovens and kilns to dry and fire product

- Maintain raw material and product identification and record data into ERP system

- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and work in progress

Production Worker Qualifications

- Good "hands on" skills with reasonable mechanical aptitude

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment

This is a Monday-Friday, 2nd shift position (afternoon/evening) with some overtime available. If you are looking for steady, year around employment and have a good work history, we would love to hear from you.
