POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory and effectively moving products and packages throughout the facility. This position is also responsible for processing all shipments, while recognizing priorities to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction. The person in this position will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the shipping and receiving team in order to meet department and business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide and promote a safe work environment throughout the entire facility
•Perform material services to all departments, customers and suppliers while verifying that counts and inventory transactions are complete
•Ensure product is labeled, packaged and stored appropriately
•Cycle counting, including applicable inventory transactions
•Order or request manufacturing supplies when needed
•Regularly check manufacturing orders received from the customer service department
•When components are in stock, work with manufacturing to determine when they need the product
•Receive, inspect and process paperwork and rejected material, per ISO procedures
•Communicate and coordinate shipment information with truck lines (internal & external), suppliers and throughout the facility
•Process paperwork for all shipments
•Understand INFOR system, this includes: pick lists, packing lists, shipping procedures, etc., and follow indicated instructions pertaining to customers
•Load trucks in the most cost efficient way for deliveries
•Stock product and keep track of non-inventory items at external warehouses
•Ensure shipments to customers and suppliers are in good condition
•Inspect forklifts, trucks and trailers as necessary
•Process inventory transactions
•Follow 5S guidelines to continuously help to keep the facility clean and orderly
•Assist in attaining the department goals in regards to inventory

•Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
•2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
