Basic Job Functions:

The Cold Mill Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the Cold Mill as well as plant wide leadership team to achieve zero injuries, coach and develop our team, continuously improve the process, and achieve commercial excellence, while taking care of our customers. The Cold Mill Supervisor is responsible for motivating teammates,defining expectations, and ensuring those expectations are met. This person is responsible for communicating the goals of the department and developing a plan to achieve those goals. Must be willing to actively participate in meetings and activities before, during, and after regularly scheduled work hours. Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2 years supervisory or crew leadership experience

- 4 year college degree
