The
Process Engineering Superintendentis a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the refinery’s process engineering function. This role ensures alignment of engineering priorities with business strategy, supports operations and capital projects, and fosters the development of engineering talent. The Superintendent will drive technical excellence, ensure consistent unit monitoring practices, and escalate threats and opportunities to optimize refinery performance.

The Wood River Refinery
is located in Roxana, Illinois, about 15 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri, at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrocracking, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of light, low-sulfur; heavy, high sulfur; and high-acid crude oil. The crude supply is sourced domestically or from Canada. Wood River produces a high percentage of transportation fuels. Other products include petrochemical feedstocks, asphalt and petroleum coke. Refined products are distributed to customers by pipeline, rail car, barge and truck and are shipped to markets throughout the Midcontinent region.
The base pay range for this role is
$155,700 – $210,000depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
