H&K Perforating, LLC, a trusted leader in value-added perforated metal solutions for more than 135 years, is seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills across a range of manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our operations running smoothly by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and carrying out effective repairs.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery to maximize uptime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Conduct regular equipment checks to detect and resolve issues before breakdowns occur.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
- Prepare maintenance reports and provide equipment status updates to supervisors.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive strategies to reduce downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available.
- Partner with procurement to source and order necessary parts and supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines during maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Work with production and engineering teams to plan maintenance without disrupting schedules.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff to improve equipment performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for repair and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Flexibility to work overtime and varied shifts as needed.
