Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to join our Business Unit Finance team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. This position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location. We offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst do for us?
They are responsible for providing business unit finance support. They coordinate, facilitate, plan, and advise internal customers in creating budgets and variance analysis as well as perform other specialized financial, accounting, and planning activities and analysis. They act as a consultant on financial policy and procedure, and their application. They prepare and present financial analysis including conclusions and recommendations to management. This role requires knowledge of financial and accounting theory, principles, and practices. Knowledge of regulatory recovery methods and utility ratemaking practices is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is a sedentary job requiring working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. Ergonomic accommodations including sit to stand desks are available and installed as needed.
