PURPOSE OF POSITION
Setup and operate extruder to apply rubberized membrane to pulleys per specification and to fulfill customer orders
.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More Specifically, The Employee Owner Will•Know and observe all plant safety rules applicable to your work.
•Set up and operate extruder
•Apply rubberize membrane to pulleys, per specifications.
•Safely, properly, and efficiently grind vulcanized rubber off reworked pulleys.
•Perform changing out rubber from extruder.
•According to specifications, wrap and place pulleys on autoclave racks.
•Load and unload autoclave.
•Ability to read and interpret order schedules.
•Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
•Continually participate in additional training related to the position.
•Perform required preventative maintenance.
•Perform all activities in a manner that protects and promotes the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, the community and the environment.
•Report all unsafe practices and conditions to your supervisor at the first opportunity.
•Strive to achieve the highest possible product quality, from receipt of an order.
Qualifications

•Ability to be trained and maintain knowledge of the various types of rubber membrane and be able to distinguish between them.
•Ability to read and understand work orders.
•Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
•Know how to read a tape measure.
•Ability to complete orders on short notice to meet customer expectations.
•Regular, consistent attendance.
Education – Experience – Computer Skills
•High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
•One to three months related experience and/or training; or
•Equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES
•Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
•With training, demonstrate the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
