Blackwood Solutions continues to grow, and we are excited to expand our team. We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Support Drivers who take pride in safety, professionalism, and reliable performance.
Blackwood Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Support Driver to join our logistics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery, operational readiness, and critical support for transportation needs across multiple regions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-driven, and committed to maintaining exceptional service standards—especially during high-demand periods such as storm response operations.
· Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to support logistics, deliveries, and field operations.
· Assist with transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to designated project sites.
· Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and compliance documentation.
· Communicate effectively with dispatch, managers, and team members regarding route planning, delays, or operational updates.
· Support emergency or high-volume operations, including storm response deployments.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles remain in safe working condition.
· Follow all federal, state, and company safety requirements, policies, and best practices.
· Represent Blackwood Solutions with professionalism during all customer and team interactions.
· Regular schedule offers home time every other weekend.
· Flexibility is essential, as schedules may shift based on storm activity, workload, or emergencydeployments.
· Overnight travel should be expected during major project periods or weather-related mobilizations.
· Must reside in the state of Georgia (GA) or Tennessee (TN).
· Valid CDL with a clean and verifiable driving record.
· Ability to operate vehicles for extended periods, sometimes in challenging conditions.
· Strong reliability, communication skills, and commitment to safety.
· Ability to lift, load, and transport materials as required (up to company-specified weight limits).
