You’ll be the driving force behind our quality systems, leading initiatives that ensure every busway, tap-off box, and assembly meets world-class standards. What You’ll Do
- Lead and continuously improve the company’s quality management system (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Manage quality assurance processes across production—from incoming materials to final inspection.
- Oversee quality performance on the busway and tap-off box assembly lines, ensuring engineering precision and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and monitor key quality metrics, using data to drive accountability and improvement.
- Oversee Supplier Quality Management process.
- Champion best practices in 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and Control Plans, building a stronger foundation for product consistency.
- Implement SAP QM and new systems for calibration management, document management and supplier quality management.
- Implement and maintain a digital document management system to improve traceability and efficiency.
- Mentor and train production and engineering teams on quality standards and process control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Logistics to reduce waste and elevate performance.
- Partner with leadership to prepare for audits and customer inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within manufacturing or industrial operations.- Experience and internal/lead auditor certification with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Experience in SAP QM.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and electrical components (experience with electrical products or as an electrician is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working hands-on in production areas as needed (ability to lift up to 50 lbs).
