PURPOSE
Role and Responsibilities
This role will be focused on creating product data inside Gresco’s PIM. Other product-related work may be required; many of the tasks involved are listed below. This position will focus on product content for PIM but may be asked to assist with other product data duties.
PIM/Ecommerce
•Create, edit, and maintain product listings, descriptions, specifications, and images across the e-commerce platform.
•Create new and future items as catalog items in PIM.
•Cross-check data with internal systems (e.g., PIM, ERP) for accuracy.
•Edit and update items in PIM to improve clarity, accuracy, and product performance.
•Work to ensure up to date product data within PIM through audits.
•Meet deadlines for sudden product launches.
•Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
•Collaborate with product market team to gather accurate product information if needed.
•Pull monthly list of DNR products tied to the website for removal.
•Enter data into spreadsheets and Gresco ERP system.
Surplus Inventory Support
•Monitor and track surplus inventory levels.
•Update Amazon and eBay store with new surplus inventory as needed.
•Process Amazon/eBay orders as needed.
•Maintain Amazon and eBay account health status.
•Other requests by supervisor may be required.
NATURE AND SCOPE
The job requires project management with the ability to work with multiple branches and multiple items at one time. This includes product content, ecommerce site and PIM, and item maintenance. A strong understanding of Gresco’s business model and understanding of the business goals, objectives, and requirements of its complex information systems and business. Must be hungry for the success of Gresco and the team, be able to acknowledge their own strengths and weaknesses with a spirit of humility and have a high emotional intelligence and common sense toward people.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED (minimum required job-related knowledge)
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and various other computer and internet-related programs.
•Strong understanding of standard business departments and workflows.
•Must be tactful and capable of conveying a positive and professional image while strengthening relationships with internal and external customers.
•Ability to prioritize among multiple projects and tasks.
•Must have strong customer service skills.
•Must be able to develop customer friendly and aesthetic content.
•Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions with high accuracy and attention to detail.
•Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority.
•Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
PREFERRED
•Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Business or relevant field is a strong advantage.
•Experience in content creation, e-commerce, or product management.
•Strong understanding of Gresco’s business model.
•Electrical utility product knowledge.
•Understanding of AI tools such as Copilot.
•Experience with creating product marketing content.
•Experience working with PIM or eCommerce platforms.
•Knowledge of various PIM or eCommerce software tools.
•Strong or advanced understanding of Excel.
•Familiarity with SEO principles and e-commerce tools.
•Experience with inventory systems is a plus.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make content improvements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office conditions. This role will be based at our Forsyth, GA office with the possibility of remote work and could require minimal travel. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch.
