Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Macon, GA$25–$32 per hour (based on experience)Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days or Nights Available

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our industrial manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the safe installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of high-speed production and quality equipment to support maximum plant reliability and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment — conveyors, bucket elevators, conveying screws, pumps, etc.

- Replace and repair metal piping and pipe supports

- Diagnose and repair electrical equipment, controls, and wiring

- Perform daily rounds: inspect, monitor, and verify equipment performance

- Fabricate new or replacement metal parts for production machinery

- Assist with product screener adjustments and facility clean-up

- Perform additional maintenance tasks as needed to support operations

Required Education & Experience

Two-year degree in Electrical or Electronics TechnologyCertificate in Welding TechnologyExperience with industrial mechanical equipment and electrical troubleshootingStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Physical & Working Conditions

This is a hands-on industrial environment requiring:

- Bending, lifting, pushing, climbing, crouching, crawling in confined spaces

- Frequent lifting and carrying of moderate to heavy items

- Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, and varying weather conditions

- Ability to use PPE: safety shoes, gloves, glasses, hearing protection, hard hat

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work with interruptions

- Clear communication with team members and supervisors
