Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of fuel distribution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in various transportation management systems.

Duties

- Coordinate and schedule fuel deliveries using GIS and GPS technologies to optimize routes and ensure timely service.

- Utilize transportation management systems, including Oracle Transportation Management and Monday app , to track shipments and manage logistics.

- Analyze data related to fuel dispatching and supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping & receiving documentation and data entry tasks.

- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and suppliers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.

- Oversee fleet management activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

- Collaborate with 3PL partners to enhance transportation planning and logistics strategies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics roles with a focus on freight management.

- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, transportation management, and analysis skills.

- Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AS400 for data management.

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

- Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry tasks.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
