Route Planning & Dispatch Coordinator (Multi-State Operations)

Eazy Grease is a fast-growing used cooking oil collection company operating across multiple states. We are hiring a Route Planning & Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily routes, work directly with drivers, and coordinate service needs across operations and customer service teams.

This role requires strong communication with drivers, real-time decision-making, and hands-on involvement in daily operations. Initial training is on-site, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after a successful training period.

Work Schedule

- On-site Mon-Fri | Full-time

- Must be able to reliably commute to Wynwood-area

What You’ll Be Doing

- Plan, build, and adjust multi-state used cooking oil collection routes

- Dispatch and support drivers throughout the day

- Communicate directly with drivers regarding:

- Route changes and daily priorities

- Service issues and access problems

- Scheduling and coverage needs

- Coordinate with customer service & operations to handle full or emergency service calls

- Monitor route progress and make real-time adjustments

- Coordinate truck availability, breakdowns, and repair scheduling

- Maintain operational awareness of DOT-related requirements

- Identify and resolve routing and service issues proactively

Who This Role Is For

- Have experience in routing, dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations

- Are comfortable dealing with drivers daily

- Can manage multiple routes and shifting priorities

- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally

- Stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment

Who This Role Is NOT For

- Warehouse-based logistics or floor supervision roles

- Fully remote-only positions

- Candidates uncomfortable handling real-time operational issues

Requirements

- Prior experience in dispatch, routing, logistics, or transportation operations

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

- Comfortable using CRM or routing software (Salesforce a plus)

- Ability to adapt quickly as daily needs change

- High attention to detail and accountability

Nice to Have (Not Required):

- Experience in waste, recycling, grease, fuel, or service-based routing

- DOT or fleet exposure

- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
