Job Summary:
Formweld Fitting, Inc is a pipe fitting manufacturer serving several industries, including the petrochemical and mining sectors. Our staff fabricates, to standard specifications, wrought steel pipe fittings for our customers on-demand.
To support customer needs, we are looking for dependable, adaptable, and skilled PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to join the team. The ideal candidate would have a manufacturing background, someone able to support a fast-paced but structured environment.
Starting Pay Rate for the Production Coordinator:
- Understand production needs and workflow.
- Plan weekly production for efficiency and around deadlines.
- Coordinate production flow and shop employees.
- Inform management and office personnel of delays on orders.
- Devise plans to get orders back on track if they fall behind.
- Manage maintenance needs, including planning any shutdowns.
- Supervise and ensure preventative maintenance along with records
- Oversee introductory, onboard training of new employees.
- Direct annual recurrent training of all employees.
- Assist in job reviews and performance reporting.
- Implement and direct 5S of production areas.
- Perform daily inspections of production areas.
- Collaborate with Radiation Safety Officer, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety to support employees and production.
- Completed GED or High School Diploma – REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation – REQUIRED
- Previous experience in MANUFACTURING/FABRICATION Planning– REQUIRED.
- OSHA 30-certification – PREFERRED.
- Six Sigma – PREFERRED.
- Read, write, and speak English - all documentation, training, and communication is in English
- Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt and take initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and leadership-minded.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and move materials as required.
- Ability to read tape measure (down to a 1/16th of an inch).
- Able to work in varied temperatures (our production building is not climate-controlled: it is hot during hot months and cold during cold months).
- Basic computer knowledge (time entry, Access entry, Excel, etc.).
- 40 hours per week with occasional possibility of overtime (as needed and at the discretion of management)
- Days of Operation: Monday to Friday - Overtime can extend to Saturdays
- Daily Shift: 06:00AM to 02:30PM
- Possibility of overtime as needed and at the discretion of management.
