Summary:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Chemist and Wastewater Operator in day-to-day tasks. These tasks include chemical analysis of process solutions, calibration of instruments, inventory and ordering of chemicals, treatment of chemical waste, data entry of analysis results, and any other task as directed by the chemist or management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chemist with day-to-day laboratory analysis.

- Assist the Wastewater Operator with wastewater operation as needed.

Typical Minimums:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Mathematical ability to perform and/or understand the calculations.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Competently uses computers and other systems to access and maintain data.

Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff.

Basic Qualifications

Must have a clean background and a valid drivers license.

- This position is scheduled 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday, but OT, weekend work, are expected and required.
