As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting risk assessment, claims processing, and customer analytics. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and driving innovation in our insurance solutions and developing optimize data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and support evolving business needs.
Implement data governance policies to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Document data architecture, workflows, and technical specifications clearly and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Airflow, Kafka, or similar tools.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and big data technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
