Field Technician

Windsor, Colorado

The Field Technician performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment in the oil and gas field in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work with ethics, honesty, values and integrity.

· Provides a position of professionalism to others.

· Responsible for traveling to remote sites daily, and collecting oil, gas and water samples safely.

· Coordinate with field contacts and assist laboratory analysts as needed.

· Map site locations and travel to sites timely as assigned.

· Ensure requested samples are collected according to the correct methods while following the operating procedures.

· Responsible for logging in daily samples and completing chain of custodies including daily job notes.

· Maintain and keep accurate records of daily jobs for billing.

· Ensure proper cleanliness and operation of oil and gas trucks, tools, sampling, media and other equipment.

EXPERIENCE

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· High school or GED equivalent.

· Mist be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with company insurance.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management both verbally and in writing.

· Requires a strong sense of direction and knowledge of surrounding areas.

· Requires basic mechanical knowledge and experience.

· Must be able to use hand tools.

· Must be able to drive long distances in company vehicle.

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

· Must be able to move heavy drums with dolly.
