• Collaborate with Operations and Market Integration teams to ensure SCADA and telemetry systems meet dispatchability, market participation, and reliability standards.
• Support the commissioning and telemetry certification of new hybrid and standalone projects entering WEIM, CAISO, and SPP markets.
• Define and standardize signals for analytics, control logic, and time-series telemetry used by internal data and trading teams.
• Serve as a cross-functional technical liaison supporting compliance, system readiness, and data-driven operational improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of direct experience in SCADA systems, RTU/PLC configuration, and telemetry systems in the energy sector.
• Experience with OSI Monarch EMS/SCADA or equivalent energy management systems.
• Familiarity with power sector communication protocols including DNP3, Modbus, OPC-UA, and IEC 61850.
• Experience with telemetry for BESS platforms such as Powin, SMA, Tesla, or Fluence.
• Prior integration experience in WECC or SPP telemetry environments (e.g., WEIM, WRAP, or NITS Designated Resources).
• Knowledge of NERC telemetry standards, PRC-005 compliance, and event alarm protocols.
• Experience with commissioning renewable and hybrid (solar + BESS) generation assets for market dispatch and visibility.
