Job Summary

This role is pivotal in managing complex and high-risk projects, specifically focusing on the upgrade of the existing Transmission SCADA solution. The individual will oversee project budgets and schedules while managing day-to-day aspects of project scope to minimize risks. This position requires a proactive approach to creating and managing work plans and work breakdown structures, ensuring that all project deliverables are met within the established timeline. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple workstreams, ultimately contributing to the successful deployment of upgraded systems across regional data centers.

- Support work planning for 15 workstreams and maintain a consolidated workplan.

- Manage inter- and intra-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across all areas.

- Collect and consolidate weekly status reports from workstream leads, providing a comprehensive project status report to the Program Manager.

- Facilitate and track approvals for specific project deliverables or contractual obligations as required.

- Maintain current resource capacity planning across workstreams, including weekly reviews of actuals versus forecasts.

- Conduct monthly forecast planning and maintain a project organizational chart along with associated SharePoint calendars for resource availability.

Skills

- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, particularly with complex, multi-year system implementations requiring critical path management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to adapt to various management styles and meet leaders at their level of project management expertise.

- Proficient in task planning and status discussions related to software lifecycle work, hardware builds, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong capability in visually representing information for diverse audiences.

- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, and SharePoint document storage, including Lists/Calendars.

Qualifications

- Preferred experience in the utility or energy industry.

- Experience with real-time Operational Technology solutions in a 24x7 environment (Electric Transmission or Distribution SCADA, Outage Management) is highly desirable.
