Pay: $75K to $85K annually based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday, typically 40 –50 hours/week, work times can vary between 6:30 am to 5:30 pm depending on daily needs, with overtime and additional days as required.
Centerline Energy Construction is accepting applications for the position of Fleet & Materials Coordinator. An employee in this position is responsible for material inventory and ordering, equipment/vehicle management, management of the maintenance of equipment/vehicles, DOT compliance for vehicles/equipment/drivers, tool/parts inventory and maintenance, and shop/yard maintenance and cleanup. Responsibilities include establishment and implementation of best practices for an organized supportive environment for the field crews. Candidates must have attention to detail and strong communication skills. Most importantly, candidates must be safety conscious of themselves and everyone around them.
An ideal candidate will have a CDL license and experience in vehicle and inventory management. They will be competent in the use of Excel spreadsheets. This is a direct hire opportunity with great benefits.

- Manage procedures, make recommendations for ordering and purchasing of materials and small tools.
- Manage inventory and restocking process for materials and equipment used in the field.
- Coordinate with Pre-Construction and/or Superintendent for reoccurring client material orders.
- Track and manage Centerline equipment including but not limited to trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other equipment. This will involve both owned and leased and rented equipment.
- Maintain electronic documentation in TENNA, such as vehicle registration copies, insurance documentation, DOT inspection copies, and maintenance records.
- Use TENNA to track maintenance & repair costs for each piece of equipment.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment as needed.
- Maintain equipment and schedule inspections for all equipment according to DOT regulations.
- Manage insurance requirements for all vehicles, equipment, trailers as needed for both new and returned equipment.
- Track and maintain small tools, power tools and other miscellaneous small equipment.
- Oversee equipment shop/yard for cleanliness, organization, maintenance, and general upkeep of the area.
- Act as a resource to project teams regarding needs and support for their day-to-day work activity.
- Manage check-in/check-out of all inventoried vehicles/equipment, shop materials and tools.
- Complete monthly inventory of client materials for submission to accounting team.
- Clean & organize both inside shop and outside yards.
- Schedule and maintain lawn care and overall appearance of the shop building/yard(s).
- Schedule and maintain monthly crew truck inspections and inventory of both small tools and job materials.
- Manage vehicle state registration for all owned trucks, trailers, & other highway vehicles.
- Track rental equipment with vendor supplied tracking system.
- Ability to communicate well with team members.

- Forklift operation qualification will be required once employed, so previous experience/certification is preferable.
- Mechanical aptitude for tool and equipment repairs preferred but not required.
- A CDL is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean MVR.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- The work environment will vary, including but not limited to desk work in the company workshop, inventorying in the shop and outdoor storage yard, organizing/cleaning/labeling vehicles/equipment/materials, dropping off and picking up vehicles/equipment/materials.
- Workers will be required to use appropriate personal protective equipment, which may include respirators, fall protection, safety glasses, hi-vis clothing, hard hat, etc., as conditions, tasks, and requirements warrant.
- Work situations may include being in the presence of “rotating equipment” and energized equipment. As such, workers must be cognizant of ensuring that the equipment is “Locked Out” before working within machine guards or in proximity to energized components.
- Workers may work on and near heavy excavation equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
- Work is sometimes outside year-round and exposure to natural elements such as heat, cold, wind, and sun is to be expected.
- The essential functions of this position consist of spending long periods of time in the physical activities of standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, twisting, kneeling, stooping, bending, and crouching as required. This position also involves handling equipment ranging in weight from 1-100 lbs.
- Work may be performed in adverse environmental conditions such as confined spaces, high and low temperature environments, adverse weather conditions, etc.
