Job Title: Fiber Laser Operator Location: Rocky Mountain Waterjet and Laser Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Occasional extended hours/weekends possible)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fiber Laser Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a fiber laser machine for precision cutting and metal fabrication. Candidates must have prior machine operating experience and forklift driving experience. When not operating the laser, the individual will assist with finishing work and general shop support including loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a 4000W fiber laser cutting machine to produce parts to specifications

- Load/unload materials using a forklift (experience required)

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately

- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues

- Ensure quality control and precision in all laser-cut parts

- Assist with finishing tasks such as deburring, grinding, and cleaning parts

- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Maintain a clean and safe work area

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Machine operating experience is required

- Forklift driving experience is required (certification not necessary)

- Strong blueprint reading skills

- Familiarity with fiber laser operation preferred

- CAD skills are a plus

- Good attention to detail and quality

- Must be punctual and reliable

- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
