Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and streamline our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution and mechanical knowledge, with experience in managing inventory, shipping, and receiving processes. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient order fulfillment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving of goods.

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks to load and unload materials.

- Manage inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate tracking of stock.

- Oversee order picking and packaging processes to ensure timely delivery of products.

- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.

- Assist with heavy lifting and movement of materials throughout the warehouse.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

Experience

- Proven experience in warehouse operations or management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.

- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

- Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and packaging standards.

- Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems is preferred.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
