About This Job

Summary

GroundWork Renewables, Inc. provides full-service meteorological (MET) measurement equipment and services to support the development of profitable solar energy projects. The firm is a values- and mission-driven company as well as intensely client-focused, excelling in quick response.

As part of GroundWork’s (GR) growth strategy, we are seeking a Shop Technician to play a key role in producing electrical components, as well as assisting with packing and shipping of completed products.

Location

North Hollywood, CA

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

•

Report to Production Director.

•

Assist in the wiring of different electrical assemblies.

•

Preparation of Stations for Deployment – including fabrication, wiring, and preparation for shipping.

•

Help with ad-hoc tasks as it pertains to the Production Director or Line Lead technicians.

•

Organize the production facility, keeping work areas, device parts and components orderly.

Essential/Desired Qualifications:

•

Must be eligible for full-time employment in the US.

•

High School Diploma or GED (required).

•

Prior experience in an electrician role or apprenticeship preferred.

•

Manufacturing knowledge of electronic components.

•

Any exposure to the following concepts (a plus)- Electronic Systems, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electronic Testing Design, Electronics Manufacturing, and/or Electronic Component Quality Assurance.

•

Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and working environments.

•

Autonomous in nature, but willing to ask questions when further clarification is needed.

•

Tinkerer, problem solver, autonomous & a team player (required).

•

Detail oriented.

•

Hard worker, hands-on, takes initiative (required).

•

Coachable with ability to take direction and critique in a positive nature.

•

Passion and strong interest in renewable energy.
