Under the direction of the Quality Process Manager, the Quality Engineer supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the client’s Quality Management System (QMS) within the Project Controls and Project Financial Office. This role contributes to quality assurance and control efforts through audits, training, process evaluations, and coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Support the maintenance and implementation of the clients QMS in line with established policies and procedures
- Assist in planning and conducting audits, assessments, and surveillances to evaluate the effectiveness of quality processes
- Help monitor and track quality metrics and indicators to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes to resolve quality issues
- Aid in preparing quality documentation and maintaining accurate quality records in accordance with records management standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and other partners to promote quality awareness and process alignment
- Provide technical assistance to ensure quality expectations are met across functional and field operations
- Experience working with or supporting quality management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of QA/QC principles, auditing, and quality documentation
- Some experience supporting quality assurance or quality control functions on infrastructure or construction projects
- Basic understanding of quality systems, standards, and processes (e.g., ISO 9001:2015)
- Ability to assist with documentation, audits, and tracking of quality metrics
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and project partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
Travel: Up to 40% travel if candidate is remote
