About This Job

United Performance Metal's Benicia, CA location is looking to add a Plant Operations Assistant to their 1st shift Stainless Department Team. Supported by O'Neal Industries with 100 years of expertise, this opening will provide you the opportunity to learn what it takes to distribute specialty metals across the globe. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: $20+, depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Location: Benicia, CA, On-site

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days~~

Essential Duties

•

Partner with Machine Operators on various assignments to ensure customer needs are met.

•

Utilize machinery to move product across the warehouse. Forklifts and other drivable equipment.

•

Inspect product utilizing precision measurement tools.

•

Assist with inventory management: supply level monitoring, pull and pack, product delivery.

•

Ensure a safe, clean and organized working area. Includes machinery and tool maintenance.

•

Must understand and work to all UPM procedures, work instructions, processes, and forms

•

Other duties as assigned
