We are MAKRs – Our common goal, our passion, is to create global communities connected through play and social experiences. The MAKR Group is comprised of three brands: Waterplay, a global splash pad provider; Parkworks, a Western Canadian park space supplier; and Wekid Mfg., Canada’s most playfully professional steel manufacturing team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

Our team is growing and we’re looking for a Warehouse Material Handler with better-than-good technical aptitude and planning skills, experience in manufacturing and fabrication environments, and finesse in analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Verify that all vendor-supplied materials meet our quality standards

- Ensure all products built by our Production team are accurately assembled and securely packaged

- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to build pallets and custom features

- Carefully (and creatively) pack stainless-steel components destined for communities around the world

- Work with a wide range of tools and equipment, including computers, handheld scanners, power tools, and forklifts

WHAT YOU BRING:

- A Grade 12 education or equivalent

- Previous experience in logistics, manufacturing, and/or fabrication environments

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- Experience safely operating forklifts

- Experience safely using handheld power tools

OTHER INFORMATION:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7G6), working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
