We are currently seeking temporary Skilled Labourers to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical aptitude, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work independently—day or night—in an active mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Ability to learn and understand rigging techniques

- Work independently during both day and night shifts while maintaining communication with site personnel

- Communicate effectively using two-way radio in a busy site environment

- Drive a pickup truck safely within active mining areas

- Work around large mobile equipment (e.g., haul trucks, dozers) while maintaining high situational awareness

- Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures

Position Requirements

- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment

- Strong ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic conditions

- Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts

- Prior camp experience considered an asset

- Comfortable using hand tools and working outdoors in all weather

- Ability to drive in red zones and follow all site traffic rules (training provided)

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening

- Ability to work outside in changing weather conditions over a 12 hour shift

- Must hold a valid BC driver licence with reliable to transport

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $27.50 per hour
