Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator – Alcan Products

Starting Pay: $20/hourly Location: Surrey, BC

Alcan Products is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator to join our growing team. This position involves hands-on fabrication, assembly, and finishing of various custom sheet metal projects. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications.

- Operate tools and machinery such as shears, brakes, rollers, and plasma cutters.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.

- Assist in shop maintenance and organization.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines.

- Follow all workplace safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related trade.

- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using fabrication tools.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and teamwork.

- Completion of a Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
