Brixton Metals Corporation is a publicly traded (TSXV: BBB) (OCTQB: BBBXF), Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the advancement of its copper-gold-silver exploration projects. Brixton wholly owns four exploration projects in BC, Ontario and Montana.
The position of Project Manager (seasonal, cross-shift) is located at Brixton Metal’s Thorn Project in Northwest British Columbia (via Whitehorse, YT airport or Vancouver, BC) for May - September 2026 (anticipated) with the possibility of extension.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Budget management and reporting;
- Providing project updates to management on a consistent basis;
- Logistics planning including management of fuel and supplies transported via airplane and helicopter;
- Staff scheduling and payroll reporting;
- Managing contracts with vendors and suppliers;
- Overseeing the camp catering, maintenance, contractors, and safety & environmental matters;
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and remote camp infrastructure;
- Leading regular safety meetings and upholding safety standards;
- Completion of Mine Hazard and Accident Reports and timely filing of WorkSafe BC reports as required;
- Directing fire response teams and environmental impact mitigation;
- Additional work in and around the work site as required; and
- Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety, community and environmental protection in keeping with Brixton Metals goals and objectives.
- A Business Diploma or at least 2 years project management experience plus past mineral exploration and/or mining experience is preferred.
- Knowledge in the workings of diamond drills considered an asset
- Eligible to work in Canada at time of application.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Cooperative team player.
- This position may be well suited to individuals with strong project management abilities along with skills in trades (electrical, construction, plumbing, equipment repairs).
- This position is a cross-shift with some training provided.
- Work location is a remote, live-in camp, which is only accessible by air and is located in Northwest British Columbia (near Whitehorse, YT).
- Ability to work in areas of extreme and difficult weather conditions.
- Rotational schedule is required.
