- Job performed on a mine or construction site including exposure to dust; noise; hot and/or cold temperatures; and in proximity of vehicles and other heavy equipment
- Shift is usually 10-12 hours per day dependent upon work schedule and rotation. Overtime is almost always required.
- Rotation will be 20 on 10 off
- Possible risk of ergonomic-related injury, repetitive stress injury, etc.
- Mental strain due to remaining alert for long hours, maintaining safe working procedures, large workload, deadlines etc.

- Quality Control – Collect product samples, perform gradation analysis, and prepare reports. Distribute report(s) to operations in a timely manner. Collect, review, and summarize production data from operations; report to Area Manager and Accounting. Survey, calculate, summarize, and report inventory to Area Manager and Accounting. Other duties as assigned.
- Labour – Assist crusher operater with daily plant operations, setup or teardown crushing plants, monitor conveyor belts, crushers, screens, and other equipment. Remove debris, spilled rock, or blockages around the plant. Clean equipment and work areas to keep the plant organized and safe. Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades required around site. Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, gravel and asphalt. Assist heavy equipment operators to secure specials attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and assist in other activities. Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities. Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction site. Assist miners in excavating and in setting up and operating various drills and other mining machinery. Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers as directed. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps. Oil and grease or assist with minor repairs and maintenance.
