CR Metal Fabricators is a modern, unionized manufacturer of sheetmetal and structural metal products located in Campbell River BC. Our regular projects range from: stainless steel commercial kitchen components, heavy structural steel fabrication, aluminum truck accessories, to fully finished kiosk enclosures.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Product Installer / Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with power tools, hand tools, and possess mechanical knowledge. A background in applying paint or powdercoating would be a strong asset. This position is may require availability for our afternoon shift (approx. 16:00 to Midnight)

Responsibilities:

- Assemble parts accurately and efficiently using hand and power tools

- Install components to ensure product specifications are met

- Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow production guidelines and specifications

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance

- Prep or strip parts for powder coating

- Apply powder coating to metal components

Skills:

- Proficiency in using power tools for assembly tasks

- Ability to assemble components according to technical drawings

- Knowledge of mechanical processes and equipment

- Experience working in a warehouse setting is a plus

- Familiarity with hand tools for precision work

- Forklift operation experience is required
