Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined individual to operate and maintain our Beast horizontal wood grinder. This machine is powerful, productive, and occasionally finicky—its performance is often revealed by the sounds it makes, so attention to detail is key.

The position is primarily equipment operation, with light mechanical duties such as replacing grinder teeth, troubleshooting minor issues, and staying on top of daily maintenance.

- Safely and efficiently operate the horizontal wood grinder

- Feed raw woody debris into the grinder using heavy equipment

- Monitor machine performance and listen for mechanical issues

- Replacing damaged or worn grinder teeth

- Inspecting and greasing bearings

- Troubleshooting minor operational problems

- Regularly blow off sawdust build-up

- Keep the worksite clean and organized

- Follow all safety protocols and daily checks

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 84 per week

Experience:

- Horizontal Grinding : 1 year (preferred)
