As a Business Systems Analyst at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS’ success by supporting day-to-day ERP functionality and business technology while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Business Systems Manager and be accountable for:
- Supporting the ongoing optimization, administration, and integration of core business ERP applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify system gaps, and recommend technology-driven improvements.
- Assisting system configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment of updates and enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Providing user support, training, and documentation to promote standardized system use and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all business systems and reporting platforms.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Business, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP administration, or IT/operations support.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 300 CRE, InEight, or similar ERP/project management systems.
- Strong understanding of business processes in finance, payroll, procurement, and project operations.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data integration tools.
- Working knowledge of API integrations or automation (VBA, Power Automate) is considered an asset.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:
- Working to multiple deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Periods of high pressure during collections, financial close, or project deadlines.
- The occasional requirement for extended hours to meet critical deliverables or support system updates.
- Light lifting (up to 10 lbs) of equipment or office materials.
