Position Summary
Participate and assist in the electrical assembly, installation, erection, and preparation of construction sites and related structures designed and manufactured by ProEnergy Services for the electric power generation, transmission, and distribution industry.
- Must possess the ability to work with estimators, project managers, field supervisors and office personnel.
- Assist with site preparation including clearing, grading, and trenching.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with installation of electrical infrastructure including poles, transformers, switchgear, and conduit systems.
- Operate basic hand and power tools (shovels, jackhammers, compactors, etc.).
- All employees are expected to be “safety coordinators” for themselves and fellow workers. They are responsible for implementation of ProEnergy Services Corporate Safety and Loss Prevention program at every level of work responsibility.
- Experience in working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Must have strong communications skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment and materials, as required
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
- Prior experience in construction, utilities, or outdoor labor work is a plus.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and basic electrical tools.
- Experience working around energized equipment or utility crews.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- This position is primarily on-site, requiring daily interaction with construction teams and project managers. The role may require extended hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet project deadlines.
